Thoughts On The Pokémon Adventures Manga (Volume 8)
IDK if I have much to say since it's only one Volume I'm talking about, but life on my end has been kinda weird so I'll just post something. [spoilers for the manga]
I don't know why, but I love that Silver came into the manga as basically a ninja. It makes him start out as a good threat. Which is good for an unfriendly rival.
Also Gold is simply a menace & an absolute delight to read.
He's quite reckless but he isn't stupid, he can plan around obstacles well & cares a lot about Pokémon in general. (Also I like that he grew up with Pokémon, like of course some kids would grow up with a bunch of Pokémon in their family in this world). I also like Silver so far, he feels like he always has a different plan already in motion from what we already know. I have no clue why Professor Elm though it was a good idea to give Gold an egg but I'm sure there'll be hijinks.
Kinda random but I like that Gold's reaction to finding out that Bugsy is a boy is not dramatic, they just kinda move on, which is great.
I already know who the man is at the end of the volume (...kind of) because of spoilers, but I am curious on what his plan is with Gold. Like why him?
TL;DR it's fun to read
