Watched PokéAni: Diamond & Pearl (Season 1 Episodes 1-6)
So I finally finished episode 6 of this anime so here are my thoughts so far... not much honestly cause I watched most of this a while back (also I watched like, 2 movies of this anime before this... I'm not getting into the movies right now so please don't question my choices ;_;)

So I like Dawn!
Like my friend (who got me to watch some pokéani) told me why she's great. But it feels different actually watching her. I'm bad at describing her right now, I think? But basically she's the kind of person I would've loved being friends with. Also maybe it's cause I haven't watched the Hoenn anime or barely remember what I did watch of X&Y(&Z), but I find it neat that one of Ash's companions is somebody who isn't too interested in the gyms but instead would love to do contests. I think it's a neat way to show people interacting with Pokémon differently.
I haven't watched the older/other anime featuring Brock (so maybe my opinion would've been diffrent); but so far I don't mind him.
Turtwig is also neat. I like its story I think, like the rest of the cast, I'll like it more as I watch more.
Paul is a douchbag & I love him for it. Like of course there are trainers like him. I think he'll be an interesting rival for Ash to face against. I do think loss would be easier on Ash cause to my knowledge he's been through this at least twice before.
TL;DR I had fun watching this, I will watch more for the characters + research on how to write Pokémon battles for fanfics
