So... It's been a while.

Life's just been kinda crazy on my end (& I swear at this point it's never not gonna be). But here's some update on stuff on my end.

I decided to join in on ladiesbingo. It was on a whim cause I was in a mood for writing femslash (you can thank ministarfruit on Tumblr for her fantastic Danganronpa femslash art!). I still have an idea for "Vignette" (which would be a fanfic piece on Himiko Yumeno about her relationship on Angie & Tenko), but then I realized I have writer's block ._. I'll figuer it out. I then figuered one of my prompts was for art only so I was able to create something already for ladiesbingo! (it was this post)

I've decided to rewatch Aphmau's OG Minecraft Diaries to write some fic for the prompt "Mary Sue / Gary Stu / Authorial Confusions and Other Signifiers of badfic". Like, I feel a little weird calling the creator's self-insert as a Mary-Sue. But also; Mary-Sues are sterotypically self-inserts + I actually like this series sooo.

I also counted all the prompt tables I have & am collecting, & my currect count (including my bingo cards) is 600+! Which, is a lot even if you include the fact I have & will combine prompts for the same pieces. Most of these prompt tables don't have a time-limit, so I will keep collecting prompt tables if they catch my eye because it doesn't matter if I take years on it or not ^_^

Also, a bit random; but I found out I'm actually not a singlet!

I won't go into the details yet here cause I'm still figuering things out. But it was quite the shock to me & am trying to gather the nerves to actually communicate (better) with my headmates. I'll still be going on by Henry / Hopeless mostly, but if I end up tagging stuff weirdly, that might be why. (also I should clean up my sticky, but not today lmao)

So I only found out about 8tracks long after it stopped allowing users to upload songs to your library or use the larger library (at least in the EU). And I've heard that 8tracks is under new management & is/has relaunched the site, but I still can't upload songs or use the library. So all I can do is play the currently avialable mixes.

Which; it is better then the site being down.

Still, I wished that 8tracks could work for me. Shure, I would still use spotify to listen to/find new songs, but Spotify very much promotes mixes/playlists that have a shit-ton of songs on them. Which, ends up promoting having long playlists over mixes that make sense for characters or similar.

I'm not saying there isn't a place for sites like Spotify (though I'm annoyed that they made reading lyrics a premium feature). But I wish 8tracks worked for me.

Trying Out RolePlaying

So I've been roleplaying recently (in a D&D group and one-on-one with a diffrent person), and I wanted to talk a lil about it.

To me, at least, it feels like writing something on your own but more exciting. Writing something on your own gives you more control over the product, which, in some cases is just better. But also, sometimes you just wanna have fun, and roleplaying is an odd but intressting way to do so. I think a part of why I'm enjoying it is cause I'm able to bounce off ideas with somebody else, which helps my creativity a bunch.
