I Missed 8tracks : (
May. 4th, 2024 04:20 pmSo I only found out about 8tracks long after it stopped allowing users to upload songs to your library or use the larger library (at least in the EU). And I've heard that 8tracks is under new management & is/has relaunched the site, but I still can't upload songs or use the library. So all I can do is play the currently avialable mixes.
Which; it is better then the site being down.
Still, I wished that 8tracks could work for me. Shure, I would still use spotify to listen to/find new songs, but Spotify very much promotes mixes/playlists that have a shit-ton of songs on them. Which, ends up promoting having long playlists over mixes that make sense for characters or similar.
I'm not saying there isn't a place for sites like Spotify (though I'm annoyed that they made reading lyrics a premium feature). But I wish 8tracks worked for me.
