The Most Dangerous Thing Is To Love

So for those how don't know (I don't expect you to, haven't talked much about it even on my com dedicated to it); INDULGENCESTUCK is now a 2 year old rewrite AU I have of HOMESTUCK that I'm putting on creative hiatus again.

Basically, it's an AU that starts with the complete rewrite of the dancestors because I hate how Hussie handled them. But because of my less then steller skills in a bunch of stuff including writing, I've been stagnant in how to further build my AU. It is not helped I don't really have anyone to talk to this AU about. Well I do have one but she's A) busy with her own stuff & b) sick of HS right now. So far now I've got nobody to bounce ideas off of.

It is not helped that the original media & my AU have a lot of dark elements and obsetting subject matter. So I'm not sure how to spring that stuff onto new people, if they even know about HOMESTUCK.

So, with my unskilled ass going after something that goes over, at least, 6 years of children dealing with the apocalypse of their dystopic world. And then at least 3 other dimensions (cause HS timeline)? Yea I kept burning out on the project.

INDULGENCESTUCK is not my main focus again right now. But I feel bad for abandoning it again cause it is a passion project for me. I do want to try and rewrite HS into something better (at least in my opinion), but I keep being stuck on the first 6 years + backstories for the pre-scratch trolls. And I feel hard going beyond the first arc till I figuer out the first arc. Which sucks cause the post-scratch trolls do not need the input of the pre-scratch ones cause timeline shenanigens.

So yea; I found out recently my rewrite AU is now 2ish years old & I feel bad :(

So since I'm planning on writing short stories based on HomeStuck trolls, I've decided it's a good idea to have notes on the trolls for those who aren't familiar with the media. These are the biology notes, feel free to ask further questions.

Now; it's probably hypocritical of me to ask this when I only resently started shipping Disciple Psiioniic.

But damn it; my eyes have been opened to the potential of this ship (thanks paradox Space) and I want more.

(though... considering my hyper-specific idea of what their relationship would be like, I would probably be heavly dissapointed what fics I would find)

(like; they are friends, they are roommates, they don't think twice about eachother's presence & they can't imagine life without the other. They are perfectly content with what they have & only enternity would enough. They have no clue what they are, they know exactly what they want, they only know eachother because of the person they've devoted themselves to & they're soulmates doomed by fate to meet.)

I want to preface this with that while I don't like Porrim; she's objectively not the worst character in HOMESTUCK or even of the dancestors (honours goes to (canon) Gamzee, Eridan & Cronus).

But like; I really feel like talking about this & I don't trust Tumblr not to attack me & my friend who agrees with me is currently ghosting me (which BTW, I don't think it's a bad thing, people have their reasons). So here's me rambling about a character who's not that awfull but I kinda hate anyway:
